The study is designed as a longitudinal study over a period of 12 months. Participants will be surveyed at three points in time via the portal of the Deutsches Gesundheitsbarometer (DGB).
At the initial survey (~20 minutes), after six months (~15 minutes), and after twelve months (~15 minutes).

Social experiences such as migration, exclusion and discrimination can affect mental health. The PARANOID project examines the relationships between such social factors, cognitive processes and paranoid thinking.
We understand paranoid thinking as a spectrum of human experience. The focus is on participants' own perceptions and appraisals — there is no "right" or "wrong" here. The aim of the study is to better understand how social experiences and psychological factors are related to one another and which factors play a role in this. In the long term, the findings should help to develop prevention approaches that better meet the needs of a culturally and ethnically diverse society.
If you are interested in taking part, you can contact the study coordinator.
You have to be at least 16 years old and live in Germany.
Participation is compensated with up to 18€.
